You do not need to arrive with every detail settled. Begin as a visitor, experience Rorus and decide where your story belongs.
Entering Rorus
A Clear Road Into Roleplay
Information is learned through observation, interaction and properly written poses. Begin with the responsible Caste Leader; unresolved concerns may go to the Administrator or interim Council of High Castes.
Visit the Caste Hall
Prospective residents begin at the Caste Hall, where each caste has a table explaining its place, duties and expectations within Rorus. Review the current job openings to decide which position your character wishes to apply for.
Submit Your Resume
Use the caste job application webform linked below to submit your character’s resume for the position you selected. The form will be delivered to the appropriate caste area in Discord for the Caste Leader to review.
Complete Your Census
Use the appropriate census webform linked below under Free Persons or Slave Roles. The Census Scribe reviews the submission, records the resident and the property and chattel declared to the village, then issues the appropriate in-world group access.
Settle Through Roleplay
After registration, roleplay with the appropriate people concerning caste, employment, housing and settlement. Applications and OOC rentals support that story; they do not replace it.
Start Your Rorus Story!
When you leave the Caste Hall and arrive on the road to Rorus, you are ready to begin your journey and story. No other paperwork is required, including slave examinations where applicable, registrations or applications. We want your roleplay—not your ability to complete paperwork.
Free persons
Seek Citizenship
Free Women and Free Men seeking a lasting place in Rorus use the Free Person Census Form. Those seeking a caste position also submit the Caste Job Application Form for the position selected at the Caste Hall.
Slave roles
Entering as a Slave
Slaves do not complete a general census or application. Registration is required only when a slave enters Rorus under an NPC-owner arrangement. That allowance lasts no more than two weeks; an approved owner must then be established or the slave becomes a state slave owned by Rorus and enters the Slaver’s oversight.
