Homes within a working village

Housing in Rorus

Housing is woven into the places where village life and roleplay occur, with additional accommodation available for Free Women and Free Men.

Village housing structure

Live Where the Story Happens

Rather than placing citizens in a separate housing area, Rorus incorporates homes into its caste venues, farms and working spaces.

01

Housing Within Roleplay Areas

Housing is included within the village’s roleplay areas so that residents live near the work and stories of their caste.

The housing built into each roleplay area is reserved first for the Caste Leader and their Assistant. When a roleplay space is large enough, additional apartments may also be created within the build.

02

Housing Suited to the Work

Housing follows the purpose of each location. Farms include a farmhouse, while Warriors live together in the Barracks.

This keeps housing part of the functioning village rather than separating residents from the places where roleplay occurs.

03

Residential Buildings

Rorus does not have a single residential district or a collection of detached citizen houses.

Residents who are not housed within a roleplay venue may seek accommodation in one of two dedicated buildings: the Free Women’s Residential Building or the Free Men’s Residential Building.
